Privacy
ScreenSpree has no account and collects nothing about you. This page is short because there is little to say, and everything on it can be checked against what the app does.
What stays on your phone
The films you mark, the plans that come out of them, your tickets, the rules you set and which festival you last had open are stored on your device, by the app, for the app. They are not sent anywhere. There is no sign-in, so there is no account for them to belong to.
What leaves your phone
The forecast
To show the weather for the days of a festival, the app asks Open-Meteo for a forecast. It sends the coordinates of the festival's venues and the time zone — never your location, which the app never asks for and cannot read. Open-Meteo sees the request and, as any web server does, the address it came from. Their terms govern what they do with it.
Programmes
Festival programmes ship inside the app. When new ones are published the app downloads them as ordinary files from our own server. Nothing about you is sent with the request, and nothing is sent back except the programme.
What the app does not do
- No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no third-party SDKs of any kind.
- No tracking, in the sense Apple defines it: nothing about you is linked to anything collected elsewhere, because nothing about you is collected.
- No contacts, photos, calendar or location access — the app asks for no permissions.
TestFlight
While ScreenSpree is in beta it is distributed through Apple's TestFlight. Apple tells us how many testers installed a build and shows us any feedback or crash report a tester chooses to send. That is Apple's doing, under Apple's privacy policy, and it is the only place any information about testers reaches us at all.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this ever stops being true — if the app grows an account, or a sync, or anything that sends your plans somewhere — this page changes first and says so, with a date.
